Below you can find a letter of gratitude sent on Tuesday, July 4th, 2023 to Dthora Madong, the Penticton Refugee Sponsorship Group, from LG, an individual/family the parish is helping to sponsor.
If all goes well, the family should be approved to travel to Canada by this coming Fall.

It feels like just yesterday when we embarked on this arduous journey, fleeing from the horrors of war and violence that plagued our homeland. We were displaced, torn apart from our loved ones, and left with nothing but hope for a better future.
